I will continue to look for succinct quotes on giving from other articulate people, but I will start this page with some of the ones from my study. Giving Quotes
I also know what it is like to hunt for the Scriptures on giving, and since I have been studying this topic off and on over a number of years I’ve collected some favourites. There are plenty more, but these are ones I’ve studied and I’ve written articles on most of them. You’ll notice that 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 are very much on the theme of giving and generosity. May these Scriptures on giving be of help to you too.

Just before Christmas I received some gifts of money. This has happened before and usually I needed the funds for my own expenses. However, this time I had enough to meet my basic budget, so I decided to give away some of these gifts. I had great joy in passing them on to friends in third world countries, where they have taken in orphans into their homes. In two cases the Pastor/ House father wrote that there was not enough for food or clothing for the orphans. So my gifts were received enthusiastically.
This gave me great joy too! I wish the same for you!
May you discover that giving generously in 2017 will make you richer in many ways than you ever thought possible.
