The Global Hand website helps to make connections between corporate resources and those battling poverty around the world. While Global Hand does not provide any funding, grants, or other resources ourselves, we would be delighted if we could help you with your work in one or more of the following ways.
Not-for-profit organisations are welcome to make a request for goods, labour, freight and/or funding through the website. To do so, please go to globalhand.org/en and make a request. You will first be asked to login or register if you do not already have a username and password with Global Hand.
Once a request has been made, it can be seen by others viewing the site. If an individual or organisation is able to provide help or resources, they can then contact those who placed the request. While we cannot guarantee when, or if, this will occur, donors from around the world will be able to see the needs that are listed.
Global Hand offers different levels of participation. When you make a request as above, you are automatically given "Brown" status on the site. In order to respond to the offers placed on the site, you must apply for membership and provide your organisation's documentation, among other things. For further details about registering with Global Hand, please see About Registering with Global Hand
The Global Hand website also contains information resources that may be of help to you. You can search the site to find other groups who are providing gifts-in-kind to the areas of your interest. The URL that you might find especially helpful for this is: this Global Hand's Search page.
Search by Office Location to find organisations in your area.
Our Library section also contains other information resources that may be of help to you. Please see the globalhand.org/library for further options.
We hope that you will find help for your work through the Global Hand site. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Kind regards, GLOBAL HAND Ben Solanky
