In January I wrote, 'Have More to Give.' I would like to expand on that, to 3 ways to get still more to give. I'm always on the lookout for honest, safe ways to make more money so I'll have more to give.
I've found three ways that I'm working at now more earnestly. Since I am a plodder and have many other duties because of promises I must keep, it is going to take me a while to really draw in the funds, but it occurs to me that I can share these avenues with others, like you, and if more of us work at this, we'll all be able to do more giving.
For myself, I have enough trickling in from my Canada pension, Old Age Security and a steady client to work for to meet most of my basic needs. I have learned to 'make do' and 'do without' all my life. I can get by. But oh, how I'd like to give to those in ministry and those in dire need! So I work harder than I would need to, just to have the resources for being a Generous Giver - like God.
Perhaps you are in some measure of need for yourself and your family. But you would also like to give generously to others? Then I urge you to check these ways of earning large funds and if you are prepared to invest yourself, particularly for the first year or two, you should do well. Others certainly are!
My first suggestion is a rebate or loyalty program for your shopping both online and offline. It is free to sign up with this program. But you must first get an invitation from someone who is already a member. I'll be happy to oblige!
Here you gain by getting rebates on most of your shopping worldwide, and if you refer friends to sign up too, you will get a small percentage of all they spend anyway. It is quite painless, as long as you use your rebate card, and/or the gift vouchers which you can use for yourself, or pass on to others. Almost in an incidental way, you get money back to spend again, and you gain profits that will astonish you.
